Duceman’s March Madness day 1

Thats right bitches, I’m back. We haven’t had a losing tourney in over half a decade. Last year was a good one. I have been absent mostly because I’m busy with a new day job. I can assure you all, College Hoops is one of our passions and we have been all over it. This year feels like a great time to win some serious money. Here is what we got for day 1. Check back in Comments for changes and added bets.

Old Dominion -2 over Butler-500 VCU looked damn good last night and they can’t hold a candle to Old Dominion. They are going to smoosh Butler in this game.

Princeton +13 over Kentucky- 300 too many points for an Ivy team. Them and Harvard could have made at an large but it’s Princeton who has a chance to make history. They play slow and every possession will count. Too many points for the Tigers and the Smart kids. Kentucky is young, I think Princeton could win this game.

West Virginia -2 over Clemson- 300 - I hate Clemson, but I can’t overlook that they have been playing well. But,the ACC sucks and Big East is for real.WVA at -2? I will take it gladly. Bobby Huggins won’t lose this game.

Richmond +3 over Vandy-500 I love the Spiders grabbing 3. They are peaking at the right time, covering 8 in a row. Vandy and the SEC are over rated. Vandy hasn’t covered in 4 games and The Spiders win the A10 tourney and are getting 3? Thanks Vegas.

Wofford +9 over BYU-500 I love this line.  Wofford’s non conference schedule was ridiculous. Much tougher schedule than BYU.  4 of their losses came in OT. They have covered 6 out of their last 7, they played in the tourney last year, I love the experience. In fact, they are one of the most experienced teams in the tourney.  BYU is a bunch of coward Mormons. Without Davies, BYU is 3-2, losing two of those games by 20 points. Jumping in hard at +9 and one of the plays of the day. Mormons going down.

Gonzaga +1.5 over St. Johns-300 Love the Zags today. They have been playing well. Johnnies haven’t covered in 3 of 4 and the Zags have in 4 of 5.

Mizzou +1 over Cinci-500 I don’t like either of these teams. Cinci’s non conference schedule was a joke. Mizzou is nasty in Columbia though and I think they bring the same intensity today. I can’t see Yates and Dixon being able to handle the Mizzou pressure. I will gladly take the point here.

Kansas State -2.5 over Utah State- 500I like this line. Utah State has 1 win in the top 50 and that was a St. Mary’s team that just lost in the first round of the NIT. Jacob Pullen is going to wreck the Aggies. Liking Kansas State big.

Wisconsin -5 over Belmont-500 everyone seems to be all over Belmont. They haven’t played anyone except a Pearless Tennessee. Whisky is one of the most under rated teams in the tourney. I have them in the Final Four in all my brackets. -5 is a gift. I have it at -8.5. How are they going to stop Jordan Taylor? They aren’t.
