I read this article and wanted to throw up I was so disgusted. It seems as if high school kids are making headlines almost daily for getting into trouble for partying. This story proves just how big of morons this generation is. I’d live to be only 37 if I could go back and be 16 or 17 again, but I might change my mind since I’d hang out with these dorks. In high school you required very few things to keep you happy, it consisted of a 30 pack, a place to drink your 30 pack then a floor to pass out on. You relished when your friends parents left town for a night, but you were ballsy enough throw a mini bender when your mom went to Donelans Supermarket for milk. As drunk as you got you never burned your bridges, you always wanted another chance to party in that house, basement, backyard etc, so you would by no means ruin your future by doing what the East Bridgewater kids did. Don’t get me wrong we all puked, pissed, bled, fought and broke stuff. BUT. We covered it up well and tried as hard as hell to keep the people who would cause problems or ‘Rats’ from our parties. This students mom, Jill Steidle, went to Paris…Paris, holy shit. The furthest my parents would go away and trust me alone was Nashua NH. Please read the article, there is too much to mention, this blog could be 2500 words.
Below is my favorite quote from the article and some highlights of what they did
According to court records, Steidle’s son was staying with friends and relatives and went home to take out the cat when revelers started showing up. He asked them to leave, but they would not listen. He did not call police because he feared he would get beat up. And from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., more people started showing up.
- Steidle’s mom went to Paris, kids has party = $45,000 in damage
- Kids made a Facebook page to brag about what they did
- Partygoers pissed on beds and in bureaus
- They fought, stole DVDs, jewelry, PS3, laptop etc.
- Used baseball bats to smash stuff and break holes in the walls
