The Jets are stupid

Let's burn this fucker down!

Jets ownership decided to ban alcohol for tonight’s game between the Jets (-10) and the Bungles, how is this not a bigger news story?  They cited a few reasons for this horrible decision, late start – 8:20, last game of regular season and last game at the Meadowlands.  The Jets owners must be big time losers and probably have never smuggled booze into a sporting event, any normal person has done this at least 14 times in their lifetime.  281 blogged about this a few weeks back in his Nips and Scratchies blog. I even brought a nip into a funeral one time, true story.  This is a horrible decision because you just pissed off 60,000 or so Jets fans who believe it’s their god given right to drink at a football game.  Now these 60,000 or so fans will revolt by getting even more drunk while tailgating, then they will sneak hundreds of thousands of nips into the Meadowlands and get totally belligerent.  This is going to happen tonight.  I have zero interest in the game, but I may tune in just to see how out of control it gets.  The fans will be tossing their empty nip bottles onto the field by the 2nd quarter, Ed the Fireman will be vomting in his hat by the half and come the 4th quarter the Jets fans will  be pelting the owners boxes with molotov cocktails.  Like I said this is going happen.  Thank god it’s the last game at the Meadowlands because if the Jets lose they will burn this place down.
